The RT-16 uses rotational control to move your standing desk up and down, providing a unique form of control that differentiates it from our other remote controls. By rotating the outer circle to the right or left, this movement will adjust the height of your standing desk.

This alternative remote features an LED display that shows your exact height position and allows you to save up to 3 memory positions. Once you've saved your positions, raise your table lift to your ideal standing height by tapping the memory button. It also includes a remote lock features, an LED display that shows your exact height position, a friendly reminder system that can be set to 3 different durations to remind you to stand, and up to 3 memory positions. Once you've saved your positions, raise to your ideal standing height by tapping the memory button. This remote model is compatible with all our standing desks (except the Economy Ryzer and Prime Ryzer).

Can I use Progressive Desk remotes with my third-party standing desk?

Our Progressive Desk Remotes do not work with other third-party standing desks.

Can I use Progressive Desk Remotes with third-party control boxes?

We cannot guarantee that our remotes will work with third-party control systems. The pin-outs of the ports may differ from one company to another.

Troubleshooting

How do I set the maximum/minimum heights for my Ryzer?

NOTE: The steps below may vary depending on the remote model that you have. The following instructions were made for the standard RT-11 remote.

To set the maximum height for your Ryzer, go to the desired height you would like to set and follow the steps below:

1. Press M and see [5 -] indicated on the display

2. Press the UP button and notice [5 -] blinks

3. Hold the M button until you see [999] on the display

4. The maximum height has now been set

To set the minimum height for your Ryzer, go to the desired height you would like to set and follow the steps below:

1. Press M and see [5 -] indicated on the display

2. Press the DOWN button and notice [5 -] blinks

3. Hold the M button until you see [000] on the display

4. The minimum height has now been set

To reset the limits, follow the steps below:

1. Press M and see [5 -] indicated on the display and release

2. Hold the M you see [555]

3. Limits have been reset

I have to hold down the remote buttons to get to my pre-set height. Is there a way to do this with only one press?

NOTE: The steps below may vary depending on the remote model you have. The following instructions were made for the standard RT-11 remote.

If you have to hold down the remote’s buttons to get to your pre-set height, this means that your control box is in momentary control. To set your remote to non-momentary mode, follow the steps below:

1. Make sure that there is nothing underneath your desk, as we have to enter the reset procedure

2. Press and hold the DOWN button until the display shows [ASr]

3. Once [ASr] is shown, press and hold down [1], and you may see two values:

a. 10.1 = Non-momentary Mode

b. 10.2 = Momentary Mode

4. Complete the reset procedure by holding the DOWN button until your standing desk slightly lowers and rises.

My remote is showing an error code on the display? What should I do?

Easy to adjust, sturdy

I got the mechanical desk converter to put on top of my existing desk. Came pre-assembled.

The desk is sturdy and the mechanism to lower it up and down is very smooth and easy to adjust to the perfect height. I would recommend this desk to all my friends and family.

Only complaint is that the keyboard tray is too big for my needs while at the same time not having enough space for a mouse/mousepad.

It has a weight limit!

I loved this controller when I got it. I worked just fine and all I needed to do was plug it. However, I was working one day and my weight was on my desk and I pressed the controller to raise the desk. It sounded like it tried to raise the desk but the weight was too much and just stopped. And that was it. It never worked again after that. I had only used it for a month. It was really disappointing.
I looked for where I might have missed a specification about the weight limit that the controller could handle and didn't find anything. I think specifying that part is important so the user can pay attention to how much weight the controller can handle.
It's either that or this one I got is defective.
