Vertical Monitor Stand

I like this product save for one flaw. The hinge behind the VESA mount is not a great design. This hinge allows the monitor to swivel up and down. We mounted a slightly older 27 inch Dell monitor on this stand and the hinge is very difficult to tighten adequately to keep the monitor from slumping. You are provided with an Allen key to tighten it but I've found it very difficult to tighten it enough so that a slight nudge of the monitor doesn't result in the monitor slumping (leaning down) again. So perhaps, this is a great product for lighter modern monitors but not so great if you are using a monitor that is a little heavier.
Otherwise, the product seems solid and is well designed.

Nowadays, gas spring arms are way more expensive than they have any right to be. This arm is great value, and feels very solid. It's easy to adjust the tension, and I can freely move the arm around without the monitor rising or sinking at all. The cable management features are a nice touch, although I have docked a star because the cable cover at the top half of the arm was too hard to remove/reattach, and ended up breaking while installing. Other than that blip, very happy with this purchase
