I bought the lap desk as a gift to my brother and see him using it all the time now.
My only complaint would be that the mouse pad is peeling off at the corners but this doesn’t bother my brother because he has his own mouse pad.

Unclear instructions, how do we even attach this thing under the desk?

The instruction "manual" is a few pictures that mainly seem to focus on how to adjust the size of the holder... but how do we attach it to the desk? Do we need to drill some holes? There are some mystery screws and anchors that are not mentioned at all in the instructions. I wrote to customer support but never heard back (except for automated surveys...).

To clarify how the holder attaches to the desk, please refer closely to images 4a-1 and 4a-2 in the instructions, https://www.progressivedesk.ca/cdn/shop/files/DC-01_-_CPU_Holder_-_Installation_Guide.pdf?v=16909661181990489115.
These images show the correct orientation and placement of the holder against the underside of the tabletop, as well as how the screws are used to secure it.

Yes, the holder is mounted directly to the underside of the desk using screws, and pilot holes may need to be drilled depending on your tabletop material. The screws and anchors included in the hardware kit are intended for this mounting step, even though they are unfortunately not explicitly called out in the written instructions.

Never received. Mixed my order with another one. I got a grommet instead of the cable ties. I want a refund.
