Many of us might not be avid productivity activists, but you might want to pay a little attention to the Pomodoro technique. While many consider it to be a productivity hack, it is way beyond that. Enough hype about the Pomodoro technique, but the point worth pondering over is, what is the Pomodoro technique? In simple words, the Pomodoro method is a time management system, which encourages people to utilize their available time and work with it efficiently, rather than against it.

Through this technique, you can break your day’s available time into 20 minutes of work & 5-minute breaks. These intervals are what gives this technique its name, the Pomodoro technique. Once you have completed four Pomodoros, you can take a break of fifteen to twenty minutes.

The timer’s main motive is to instill a sense of urgency in the mind of the practitioner of this method so that you know how much time you need to complete each task at hand. This way, instead of squandering the whole day thinking you have enough time to complete your day’s work, you can carve out your day and cover everything in a more efficient and streamlined manner.
